A multi strand fiber optic is produced with 0.75mm or 1.0mm bare fibers and PVC or TPU jackets, there are 3-strand, 12-strand, 25-strand, 50-strand and 75-strand etc., and also you can choose black jacket for end glow, or clear coating for side light effect.
